Cookies notice
Last updated: 15 May 2026. Version: 1.1.
This site does not set any cookies.
What that means
A cookie is a small piece of data a website stores on your device, typically used to remember things between visits (such as a login, a language preference, or what is in a shopping basket) or to track your behaviour for analytics or advertising.
NDS sets none of these. Specifically:
- We set no first-party cookies (cookies from nationaldebtservice.co.uk).
- We load no third-party scripts that would set cookies on our behalf.
- We use no cookie-based analytics, advertising networks, or social-media trackers.
- There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
When you click a link
When you click a link to an external organisation, you leave NDS and arrive at that organisation's site. That site may set its own cookies. Each external organisation has its own cookies policy, which you can read on their site.
Future changes
We may add cookies in future, for example for privacy-respecting analytics that help us understand how many people are using the site (without identifying any individual user). If that happens, this notice will be updated to describe each cookie, what it does, how long it lasts, and how to opt out. You will see a banner at the top of the site when cookies are introduced.
